A few words from Cyrus
Summer is here and as the days get longer, we welcome you to our latest edition of Connections. The first half of the year has been busy, and we look forward to showcasing our projects and people to you. It’s always deeply gratifying to highlight this work we are so deeply proud of.
We start with the engineering and lighting design of the Mt. Sinai Behavioral Health Center, which earned us an ACEC Diamond award. In this article you will learn about the methods Syska teams employed to create a calm, pleasant, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
In Chicago, our MEP solutions helped transform SCB’s headquarters into a space that supports employee wellbeing, brand representation, and client engagement.
Check out our innovations update, where you’ll learn about the ways we are promoting innovation and ideation both internally with our employees and externally through our investments. We will talk about the DigiDuct along with other new products we are developing here at Syska.
This issue also features a STEM-oriented article about Eniola Shokunbi, a 12-year-old phenomenon who is leading an effort to bring air purifiers to classrooms locally, nationally, and even internationally.
For the latest on our team, be sure to read Snippets, where you can find out about staff events, promotions, awards, and more.
We thank you for taking the time to read our magazine. We hope you find the stories just as engaging as ever. Enjoy the read and have a fantastic summer!
