95 Years!
Happy Birthday to us! We’ve officially been in business for 95 years. To say we’re excited about this milestone is quite an understatement.
Amid our celebrations, we’ve been looking through the firm’s archives.
These fascinate us because they give us glimpses into what engineering was like decades ago and how much we’ve grown since our establishment in 1928.
We’ve been privileged to work on some of the most iconic buildings in the world.
In Syska’s early days we focused on New York City, where projects included the World’ Fairs, Lincoln Center, and the Frick Museum. But over the decades we expanded our geographic footprint and completed a variety of projects across the U.S. and the globe: Among them Lotte World Tower in South Korea, the 3D-printed Office of the Future in Dubai, and Chicago’s O’Hare airport. Check out what we dug up from the archives!
It's fun to look back on past achievements.
But we’re also planning for the future and training the next generation of engineers. We look forward to sharing the next years of our journey with you – our colleagues, clients, project partners, and friends. A century of business is at last in sight!
