Syska Snippets

We know our readers don’t have a lot of time on their hands, so it’s quite possible that you missed some of the recent news that we announced on our social channels. Here is a brief summary:

MEP 2040 Challenge

As you are probably aware, Syska has been a longtime champion of energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. But as the impacts of climate change accelerate, it’s clear that a more aggressive and holistic commitment is required from engineers, architects, and builders. That’s why we are one of the very first signatories to the MEP 2040 Challenge, created by the Carbon Leadership Forum. Signatories advocate for and achieve net zero carbon in their projects: operational carbon by 2030 and embodied carbon by 2040. We look forward to collaborating with building owners, product manufacturers, and architects to achieve these ambitious goals. For more information on our sustainability initiatives, please read our recently published Corporate Sustainability Report.
